Margo Demarest; Ned James; Brandy Brent; Mrs. Brent; Sam; Anne; Frank Hilton
Margo goes on vacation at “an exclusive ski resort” to find a rich husband. She settles for handsome ski instructor Ned, who doesn’t know she’s already an expert skier. Margo causes Ned's current girlfriend Anne to fall through thin ice on a pond and catch a cold. Ned, Margo, and another man are trapped in a ski hut for three days, but Margo tells Anne that she and Ned were alone. Margo makes a bet with Eve: whoever wins the ski contest will have a free path with Ned. Eve is injured when Margo tampers with her ski bindings. Margo confesses the truth about everything and leaves, defeated.
