Synopsis: As the Autobots figure out what to do after Optimus left last issue, a small group led by Hot Rod decides they want to return back to Cybertron and leave the humans alone on this world, and leave their secret base. Meanwhile, Major Witwicky is out joyriding with a deactivated Breakdown (captured in issue 1). Optimus is also being held at a secret location after his surrender at the end of issue 1. The group led by Hot Rod encounter Swindle, who also wants to return to Cybertron as well alongside several other Decepticons as Ultra Magnus arrives on Earth.
