The Beyonder is dead -- and the power which once was his is now mine!
Synopsis:
Doom says the Beyonder is dead and he has ultimate power. The villains move to the area of Battleworld that was pulled from Denver and Owen shoots the bad guys into space to return to earth. A mysterious beam invades Hulk and then Spider-Woman. Doom summons the heroes to his new tower and offers to grant their wishes but they decline. The force inhabiting Spider-Woman transfers itself to Klaw. The heroes decide that Doom with the Beyonder's powers is too dangerous to exist and choose to battle him one last time. As the last vote is cast, they are destroyed in a gigantic explosion.

Rick Hirsch of ComicLink Auctions reports (November 25, 2024) that the back of the original art for pages 28-29 notes "inked by Mike Zeck". After receiving the feedback from both John Beatty and Joe Rubinstein, Zeck concluded that even though he does not personally recall doing so, he probably did ink them. Mike Zeck also suggested that perhaps there were also some touch-ups from another Marvel staff person.
