When Betty's camera flash causes Archie to get hit in the face with a basketball, he tells her to jump off a balcony. Later, when Reggie steals Archie's clothes and puts them on a sandbag hanging above the girls' gym, Betty stands on the balcony to retrieve the clothes and Archie thinks she's committing suicide.

Jughead's first official solo strip in the Archie Comics title; he had been given a solo feature in Pep Comics (Archie, 1940 series) beginning in March 1948. Art previously credited to Ray Gill; pencils and inks match signed stories of Frese from the period. This and the Jughead story in Pep Comics #75 are the first Archie stories by George Frese; the issues shared an on-sale date.
