Notes:
Mark Merlin, Captain Compass, and Roy Raymond are mentioned in the story. The western heroes Paul Lincoln watches on TV were the leads of the major DC western series of the 1950s. The unusual cases Paul Lincoln works on with John Jones are not actual Martian Manhunter stories, but rather based on the cover stories of Strange Adventures (DC, 1950 series) #54, 106, and 156. The Justice League scenes are taken from Justice League of America (DC, 1960 series) #9 and The Brave and the Bold (DC, 1955 series) #28.
