First Line: You are 'Lady Death,' a goddess of the darkness, a ruler of the nether realm

Synopsis: Illadra sails to Al-Qahira to find the occult powers that have been ripped from her by the Death Queen, a being created from the darkness of Lady Death's soul. Attempting to cross the desert, she falls exhausted and is taken captive by slave traders. When the band arrives at the Temple of 'Akrab, they are attacked by giant scorpions and most of the party are killed. Illadra and Taresa are trapped themselves, but Illadra seems to use a scrying shard to cause the rocks to fall on the giant scorpion that is about to kill them.
