Synopsis: Sonja and her companions find themselves in a land inhabited solely by animal people. They immediately break an unknown law and a cadre of flying lion people swoop in for the kill. Osin, Suumaro and Blyke are captured while Sonja escapes into the forest. She and her remaining allies meet a tribe of amphibians who tell her that her captured friends will probably be tried and killed by the ruling Leijona. The amphibians agree to help Sonja if she will recover the bones of a long dead god. Valeria and her pirates are plotting their next move in a tavern when Kulan Gath comes to town.
