Four years later, Charybdis moves to eliminate Encanta, but Qubit intercedes and brings her to a safe house where he compels her to reveal her last interaction with Modeus. The US military brass institutes Project Ultimatum, summoning an as-yet-unnamed creature as a fail-safe against Earth's rogue superhumans. Charybdis informs a small news crew that he will now be known as The Survivor and that The Paradigm will take The Plutonian down.
