Synopsis:
The gang attend the 5th Walden College reunion; Mike is about to have an affair with Nicole, but at exactly the right/wrong moment J.J. announces that she bears his child, and afterwards Mike and J.J. split up; the Cold War ends - newspaper headline: "We Won!"; George Bush joins the Yale secret society "Skull and Bones"; Duke becomes the captain of Donald Trump's cruiser, and engages Elvis Presley to perform; Rick Redfern turns 40; Kim starts high school.

Garry Trudeau was assisted by inker Don Carlton (Alter 1990, 66). Carlton’s association with Trudeau began in the early 1970s, and his responsibilities grew to include lettering of the strip. The association endured for decades (Walker 2010, 30–31).
