Synopsis: Betty and Archie are showing their wedding movies to their neighbors before going to watch Archie sing. Betty gets a pay reduction at work instead of getting laid off and has her workload increased. Mr. Lodge offers to make Archie a musical superstar if the boy leaves Betty to go back to Veronica. Angered by the proposal, Archie throws Mr. Lodge out of the bar he's singing at. Feeling dejected and with few prospects, Archie stops at a dive for dinner, only to meet his childhood friend Ambrose. He then meets Betty and kisses her passionately, feeling better about his life.

Betty stumbles into a New York dive and meets the owner, Ambrose Pipps. Archie then closes the deal and heads back home, deciding not to dance to Hiram's tune anymore.

Hiram disapproves of Veronica's and Reggie's relationship, especially since Reggie can't seem to hold down a job. Midge has second thoughts about marrying Jughead until she realizes he really does love her.

Synopsis: It's a triple wedding ceremony when three couples tie the knot: Jughead and Midge, Mr. Weatherbee and Miss Grundy, and Ms. Beazly and Svenson. Mr. Lodge informs Archie that all of the Andrews' bad luck was actually due to his influence and money. Lodge again offers to make everyone in Archie's life successful if Archie leaves Betty and goes back to Veronica. But after talking to Betty about the situation (with Veronica accidentally eavesdropping), Archie decides to again turn down Lodge's offer, his love for Betty being stronger than Lodge's millions.
