While the X-Men try to figure out a way to bring Xavier out of his coma, he is re-living an old adventure in his head where he met Gabrielle Haller and he and Magneto battled Baron Strucker for Nazi gold. This snaps Charles out of his coma and there is much rejoicing. The X-Men travel to Lilandra's ship to attend a farewell banquet but Deathbird spoils the fun by transporting them all to a Brood ship.
