G.I. Joe [General Hawk; Duke; Snake-Eyes; Scarlett; Ripcord; Lift-Ticket; Roadblock; Mainframe; Payload; Hardtop; Sci-Fi; Roadblock; Dial-Tone; Slipstream]; Blind Master; White Clown (first appearance); Cobra [Cobra Commander II (Fred VII); Baroness; Dr. Mindbender; Serpentor; Scrap-Iron; Techno-Vipers; Tele-Vipers; Cobra space techs]
...I've got the upgrade module in place.
It's an all out space war as the Joes launch a shuttle to try and keep Cobra from destroying a recently upgraded spy satellite that detected Cobra activity (as well as protect the secret behind the Terror-Dromes), but fail when Fred (as the Commander) destroys the three satellites in orbit (including one of their own) after taking charge when the Baroness is knocked unconscious during the space battle. Meanwhile, Snake-Eyes, Scarlett, and the Blind Master join the White Clown's circus en route to Borovia as they continue their rescue plan for the three Joes in the gulag.

of note: the animated commercial for this issue was slightly exaggerated, given at the end the Joes' shuttle is attacked by Cobra on the ground, which never happened in the comic itself.
