Three new recruits survive the ordeal of basic training, G.I. Joe style, and are sent on their first mission before they have barely had time to catch their breath to stop Cobra from stealing a weapons cache. Lightfoot stops them when he plants a time delayed mine onto the escaping truck before it is airlifted out by a Cobra chopper, and both truck and chopper explode in air; he also finds out that the Vipers were really Iron Grenadier troopers in disguise during the battle.
