Archie says that it's very hot, and he's making sure he doesn't get burned. Reggie bets Archie a banana split that Archie will be good and burned before the day is over. Archie gladly accepts the bet. Reggie then kisses Veronica, and Archie yells at Reggie for kissing his girl. Reggie tells Archie to pay up because he's lost his bet. Archie asks Reggie what he means, and Reggie says "You're burned up aren't you?"
