Synopsis:
Mon-El has suddenly lost his powers in mid-flight, and falls into the harbor. Not knowing how to swim, he starts to drown, but is rescued by the Guardian. Guardian was looking for him, to tell him that Squad K is also looking for him. Suddenly, his powers come back, just as Squad K shows up to bring him in, thinking he is Kryptonian. Not believing that he's not, they try to take him down, but Mon-El is finished with them in 98 seconds. Doctor Light analyzes Mon-El, and reveals that his powers are counteracting the elixir that saved Mon-El, trying to "cure" it. But the elixir is holding back the lead poisoning, so if it is eradicated, Mon-El will die. Doctor Light estimates a year to 18 months before that happens. His powers will continue to cut out as the elixir fights the problem. Mon-El asks for help from the Guardian to learn to take care of himself when powerless. Later, Mon-El meets Mitch, who runs a restaurant downstairs from his apartment, and Mitch convinces him that he needs to experience life more, including travel. The Guardian's special team attack the complex holding Tellus, and they escape with him. Codename: Assassin confronts them, but a fight is avoided for now. Mon-El begins touring the Earth, starting with Paris, France. And determines that he wants to live.
