Synopsis: After being captured by Patrick and her foster parents, Erica is transformed into a hideous sea monster. Samantha Darren finds her and tries to help, but fails. Erica attacks Samantha and escapes. Esmeralda finds Erica and returns her to human form, using her powers to allow Erica to find her real father and mother, although neither reunion ends well. Emotionally weak from the shock of recent revelations, Erica agrees to Esmeralda's bargain to bring pain to those who have hurt her. In exchange, Erica has to give Esmeralda "one small thing".
