Synopsis:
Deserted once the other Central Powers surrender, Germany surrenders too and the Kaiser abdicates. Nathan Hale, the hangman, and the provost review the human cost of the war, and the changes it wrought. So somber is their mood that before going on to another history tale, they comfort themselves by sharing the story of Goldilocks and the three bears.
