The Crypt of Terror
Gravgnaskeren [The Crypt-Keeper] (host); Godfrey Hornsby; Mayor John Applegate
Hornsby gruffly entered the Mayor's office and nearly threatened the Mayor to get the road contract he was after, but Mayor Applegate told him the City Council would vote on that tomorrow at the regular meeting. But Hornsby had an ace up his sleeve....he had a document that proved the Mayor had gotten a kickback on the sale of land the new school was being built on. The next day at the meeting, the council members did a little double-dealing of their own. Since the new road would go through much of Hornsby's property, another member demanded the new road also go through his town cemetery, or he wouldn't vote "yes" on the proposal. Agreeing to this, the council gave Hornsby his road, and the next day, bodies in the cemetery were supposed to be exhumed and moved to another part of the cemetery....but Hornsby and the cemetery owner did some under-handed dealing.....the bodies would stay where they were, and only the monuments and headstones would be relocated....no one being the wiser! Soon the new road was done and the council members all loaded into a car and took a drive on it. However, when they got to the cemetery, they suddenly saw a hand emerge through the concrete......and then bodies began rising up and walking toward the now over-turned car. The next morning, state troopers discovered the empty car, with the area all around the car neatly paved. And as they looked more closely, they discovered the bodies of the council neatly inset into the road's fresh new pavement!

The Witch's Cauldron!
Den gamle heks [The Old Witch] (host)
The little boy celebrated the best Christmas he ever had because he could now see! Born blind, all he ever knew was the love of his mother, and the companionship of his teddy bear. One day, however, his mom introduced the little boy to his new step-dad.....a man who made fun of the little boy and mis-treated his mother. He always said that the little boy had "shoe-button" eyes, just like his teddy. One day, the little boy's mother became deathly ill from over-work, and he asked his step-dad to help her. He abused her and took the boy's bear and ripped the eyes off of it. Later he asked his mom of she'd think Santa would bring him a new pair of eyes for the bear, and the mother, in spite of her condition, went out and got new buttons and sewed them on for the child. When the step-dad later found the woman dead, he cursed her still form and slapped the little boy around, knocking him unconscious. Early Christmas morning, neighbors heard screams coming from the house, and when they entered, they found the dead form of the step-dad w/his eyes replaced by buttons and the bear sitting near-by, button eyes missing....and smiling. The little boy? Well, he could now see......from a special place up in heaven!

Gravgnaskeren [The Crypt-Keeper] (host); un-named newsstand operator; Dr. Eggbert Muller (mythologist, death); un-named taxi driver (villain, a vampire)
A cab driver has a dream that he is pursued by a Dr. Mueller into a basement filled with vampire-occupied caskets. When he wakes, and Dr. Mueller actually shows up at his cab, he recognizes the dream as a subconscious warning the doctor may be dangerous to him so he takes the doctor to the basement he dreamed of and then drains his blood. Afterwards, the vampire cabbie returns to the earthen sod in his trunk to pass the coming day.

The Crypt of Terror
Gravgnaskeren [The Crypt-Keeper] (host); Gregory Macy (death); Charles Warner (death); Captain Heston (commander of the Port-au-Prince, death)
Two men aboard a cargo ship are bored until they get the idea to build a rat trap and ask the Captain to have a barrel built with a platform in the middle of it and a run off down the center. They fill it with water and attach a teeter to the rim with some food attached to the end of it so that when a rat attempts to get it, it falls into the water and swims to the platform. When another rat approaches and falls into the drink, they bet on which rat will survive the bloody struggle for the platform. Later, when their ship sinks, two find out that humans are not much different from rats!

The Vault of Horror!
Fætter Maddike [The Vault-Keeper] (host); Santa Claus
A terrific thud w/the fireplace poker and her husband Joseph lay dead on the floor. But then she heard her little girl upstairs, who asked her mommy if Santa Claus had come yet, and was told no and to go back to sleep. The wife then returned downstairs, cleaned off the poker, turned on the radio and heard an announcement of a maniac woman-killer dressed as Santa on the loose in the area. She wondered how she would be able to get rid of Joseph's body, when there was a knock at the door. She looked outside and saw a Santa at her door, the woman-killer, and paniced knowing she couldn't call the Police w/her husband's body there on the floor. Quickly she ran to every door and window, locking them, putting Joseph into a closet and then trying to board up windows from the inside. Going upstairs to check on Carol, her daughter, the woman was terrified when she found the little girl gone.....but more terrified when she went downstairs to see Carol having let in "Santa Claus"!
