Lone Bear comes to town with a large bag of gold to buy supplies for his tribe. Two bandits ambush him and force him to tell where he got the gold. The gold mine is on the Roy Zelkey ranch and the two come up with a scheme to frame Zelkey's son for horse stealing, so that there would be no one at the ranch to stop them from mining the gold.
