April resumes her social life and tries to be the “life of the party” but can’t forget Bill. Injured while on vacation, April is hospitalized and discovers Bill is there as well; his legs were crushed in an accident and he broke up with April to spare her. They are reunited and with April’s help, Bill is able to walk again.

Guy plans to open a dress store and offers Jan a job as his assistant and model. Jan tells Vic she loves Guy, so Vic backs off from him, personally and professionally. However, Vic and Guy finally admit their love for each other, and Jan’s "helpless little sister" act is exposed.
