Injured while on vacation, April is hospitalized and discovers Bill is there as well; his legs were crushed in an accident and he broke up with April to spare her. They are reunited and with April’s help, Bill is able to walk again.

However, before she can mail her letter, she receives a recording from Bob in which he announces that he’s found someone else. Terry and Sally can now be together.

However, Vic and Guy finally admit their love for each other, and Jan’s "helpless little sister" act is exposed.
