A mortally-wounded Khiron must make his own way to Hades, shunning all aid. But, when Byzantine soldiers try to waylay him, Arak and Satyricus make sure nothing keeps Khiron from his somber destination. As he finally crosses the river Styx, Khiron charges Satyricus with protecting Arak until Arak finds his destiny as the Son of Thunder.
