The Phantom Lady, present when a member of the Anglican Purchasing Commission (dressed in a lion tamer's costume) is murdered, notes a fleeing felon carrying a briefcase, also dressed in a lion costume. She follows him to the zoo and apprehends him and his pals, plus the briefcase, which contains valuable Anglican state papers.
