Synopsis: May and Chick quit their small-time dance act and open The Silver Dollar club near the Big Bend Dam construction site. May's sexy dancing is one big attraction; Chick rakes in money from liquor and gambling. May is unhappy at the sleazy nature of it all. Construction worker Deke Weems thinks The Silver Dollar is sinful and clashes with Chick. Business falls off and May tries to ruin Deke's reputation by kissing him. He apologizes for judging her too harshly and departs. May and Chick realize they love each other.
