The Phantom [Kit Walker]; Guran; Colonel Nelson; Scragg; pirates; Wambesi men; Wambesi chief; American diplomats
Deep in the Bengali jungle, the Phantom listens intently, as six thousand miles away, the earth shudders and a great rocket begins her herculean flight against the gravitational pull of earth!
When Colonel Nelson's space capsule is forced down near Bengala, he is captured by pirates and held for ransom. The Phantom and the Wambesi chief swim to surreptitiously board the pirate vessel, and free the colonel.

The Phantom
The Phantom [Kit Walker]; Diana Palmer; Doctor Luaga; Bababu; village chiefs
Near the edge of the Bengali jungle, armed revolt flares in the streets!
Bababu, who has overthrown the freely-elected Dr. Luaga, terrorizes the country. The Phantom, commissioned by the U.N., captures him and reluctantly acquiesces when the chiefs insist on trial by combat between the two rivals. The scholarly, slightly-built Luaga is clearly over-matched, but the chiefs know what neither Bababu nor the Phantom know... that Luaga is an expert at judo.
