By the On-sale date, this appears to be Neal Adams' first published Superman art, but from a discussion with him in Denver, in 2017, he said there was something earlier. Action Comics 356 was officially on sale two days after this one, but could be the book to which he was referring (if he drew the cover to Action 356 first), unless there is something else yet to be identified.
