Art modified from original printing to accommodate the removal of a vertical strip depicting the various MGM characters that appeared in each issue of Tom and Jerry Comics (Dell, 1949 series). This element regularly appeared on the left side of the cover (with some variations) thru issue #119. To compensate for the additional space afforded this cover reprint, Tom's tail was completed to its tip at the cover's left side, and Jerry and Tuffy were "moved forward" to be presented as moving further ahead of Tom toward the cover's right side. The original printing had them closer to even.

1.5
In its original printing, this story was two pages long. For this reprint, four panels were deleted, making this a 1.5-page story, allowing a half-page for the Statement of Ownership, Management and Circulation. The original panels that were eliminated are as follows: Page One / Panels 3 and 7, Page Two / Panels 2 and 4. All panels in this reprint were adjusted to compensate. In both the original and this reprint, the story ends on a half-page splash panel, with a circle-inset of Jerry in the upper left.
