When she doesn't, Harold and Martha announce their marriage and their intention to move out, taking Bobby with them. Joan is shocked but eventually she grows up.

Synopsis: Singer Lucky falls in love with soldier Watt, but she doesn't want to marry a military man. Lucky introduces Watt to her married sister Margie, whose husband is serving overseas and who struggles to make ends meet. Lucky doesn't want a life like that. When Watt says "I don't approve of working wives" so she'd have to quit her career if they wed, Lucky breaks up with him. Mike tries to kiss Lucky and Watt sees this and calls Lucky a "cheat." He's transferred to another state. Mike apologises and arranges to reunite Lucky and Watt.

When Ray comes home, he forgives Wendy and they reconcile.

However, she learns companies don't want married women: "they are sidetracked by too many personal problems to keep their minds on their jobs with us." Claiming she's single, Vivian's hired as a model by Jack. Jack falls in love with Vivian although she doesn't reciprocate his affections. Dan is angry when he finds out, and Jack fires her when he learns she's married. Vivian explains and Dan takes her back.
