Features singer “Percy Como,” an allusion to singer Perry Como
(1912-2001), who is filming a “musical epic.” Como's only film credit at
that time was the theme song to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's Somebody Up There Likes
Me (1956). A couple brief bits of song lyric appear, with the footnote,
“Copyright by S.L. Publishing Co.,” an apparent allusion to scripter Stan
Lee. (note from Tom Lammers)
