Disclose Notes: This comic is most often cited as being published in 1947, however 1946 is probably correct because a) the inside cover is an ad for the Picture Stories from the Bible New Testament Edition #1 published by EC in 1946 (a reprint of the earlier DC printing, but although the cover depicted on the inside cover of Animated Comics lacks the distribution marks on the upper left corner, it is not the DC printing because the DC logo is lacking and the back cover has an ad for the EC publications Picture Stories from the Bible Complete Old Testament Edition & Complete New Testament Edition). There is NO indicia inside the book and no indication of publisher or frequency of issue or issue number.
