Synopsis: Nola loves fellow circus performer Alfredo, but he doesn't like being upstaged by her high-wire act. She tones it down to please him, but this results in her losing her job. She's hired by a small circus thanks to the intervention of clown Bix Bixby. Bix saves her life when she falls but his back is broken. Bix is revealed to be Frank, an engineer who had loved her from afar and joined the circus to help her. Nola can now forget Alfredo's cruelty and will marry Frank.
