Mr. Rich worries about crooks stealing an exposed pile of money, should they transfer it to a new money vault across the Rich estate.  Richie has a brilliant idea: he and his father offer to give away free money to the crooks, which they think is a plot to foil them - and it was.

Inspired by a daytime soap opera Mayda was watching on television, she has Richie go on a wild goose chase to find her, and leaves notes at various stops giving her whereabouts, and at the ultimate destination she hopes to win Richie's affections, only to end up at a party in which various girls are attending.  Richie wanted to find Mayda anyway, but for the purpose of dropping off her report card in which she got an F on every subject.
