Destiny, relaxing in his comfortable and spacious home, suddenly is put upon by the killer of 711, Oscar Jones. When he attempts to enter his "trance" state and disappear, he discovers that he has remained in place. Laying in wait for Destiny, Jones grazes Destiny with a bullet, then escapes to go on a killing spree. In the end, Jones is captured and 711 is avenged.

Phantom Lady discovers that two thugs, hired by the Nazis, were attempting to plant a bomb in Senator Knight's home.
