Synopsis: Five astronauts return to Earth after a voyage of years. They find earth has been devastated by biological warfare, and two peoples exist now- savages, who are now immune to the diseases that ravaged mankind, and the intelligentsia, or 'domies'. The latter confine themselves inside huge safe domes, where they drain the blood of the savages in their search for immunity to the outside plagues.
