Gail works as a secretary in her father’s factory and convinces him to offer Ricky—-who has fallen on hard times--a job. Ricky accepts and he and Gail reconcile.

When the aunts try to intervene, the justice of the peace and police chief flirt with the older ladies and convince them to permit the wedding.
