Beth; Don [Dick Reed]; Mrs. Horn; Laura Walters; Mr. Walters
Architects Dick and Beth are hired by wealthy Mrs. Horn to build a house in a remote mountain area. They hire Walters and his daughter Laura to guide them to the site. Laura flirts with Dick and Beth accidentally pushes her off a cliff. Dick rescues her but is injured himself. Beth goes for help but a raging forest fire prevents any rescue. Dick and Laura are never found. Some time later, Beth hires Don as her assistant and tells him the story. Don confesses that he is actually Dick and survived the fire, undergoing plastic surgery to his face.
