Julius Schwartz's editorial records, provided by DC Comics, list Gil Kane as penciler and as inker. However art experts believe the inker is Murphy Anderson.

Subsequent research reveals that Bob Rozakis credited Gil Kane as the sole artist of this cover in Green Lantern #100 (January 1978). The exclusive Kane credit was repeated in Showcase Presents Green Lantern vol. 2 (2007). In a conversation with Anderson, he recalled working on this cover, but recalled that he was finishing or re-inking a cover inked first by Kane.
