Plas and Woozy meet a bona fide Martian named Mr. Misfit, who alerts Plastic Man to Professor MacGhoul's plan to launch a rocket to Mars. Misfit wants to protect the planet's riches from MacGhoul. After Plas prevents the launch, Misfit disappears, leaving his disguise behind, and neither Plas or Woozy ever got to see the Martian underneath.
