Trying to track forgers, Tintin and Snowy are shanghaied onto a drug-running ship where First Mate Allan uses alcohol to keep Captain Haddock under his thumb. Tintin and Snowy escape with the Captain and are soon stranded in the Moroccan desert, where they are rescued by camel troops. Once into the town of Bagghar they find and expose the opium smugglers.
