"Lee Bachelor" is a known pen name for Leo Bachle, who confirmed that he worked at EC under that name in Comic Book Marketplace #114. Bachle had an assistant, John Alton, help for his EC work, but it is not known precisely what he did and this work needs to be compared with Alton's solo work. It is believed that Ernie Bache also used Lee Bachelor as a pen name, but examples of where he did that are unknown.

Weisbecker noted for long faces with angular jaws and chin, and wide open eyes. Compare with his many Shield stories in Pep Comics.
