Synopsis: Der sterbende Prof. Morgan verrät John Riaz in Süd-Amerika ein Geheimnis. John fährt mit einem Ruderboot nach Verazil, kentert und verliert kurzzeitig das Gedächtnis. Nach des Professors Anweisungen reibt er sich mit Pflanzen ein und trinkt ein Ei eines gigantischen Vogels. Als er nach Verazil zurück kommt ist die Stadt geflutet und er muss mit einem kleine Holzschwert eine gigantische Echse in die Flucht schlagen. Das Baka-Holz war ebenso magisch wie die Schutzvorkehrungen, die unser Held treffen musste.
