Sally Barnes dreams that she has been given the "Voice of the Lorelei" and her wishes comes true. Labeled a witch, she is tried and convicted, and is sentenced to death. Sally's attorney calls in the JSA and they question her (a prisoner named Slicer overhears), and she tells of a dream in which a dwarf gives her this "voice". Convinced of her innocence, the JSA asks the judge for 24 hours to prove her innocence. The JSA discovers the entrance to Fairyland, as does Slicer, meets Rapunzel, battles an ogre, and then is turned to stone by The Lorelei, but a Wise Woman breaks the spell.

GL uses his Power Ring to restore all the JSA into their normal selves, then Wonder Woman recounts how the portal from Fairyland to the Earth was accomplished and how Sally had gotten the Voice of the Lorelei. The JSA returns to Earth in time to witness the evil of the Lorelei attack Gotham City while Lorelei obtains the Philosopher's Stone. Slicer turns on her, wanting it, and she turns him into a dog. The JSA captures Lorelei and her minions just as the Earth and Fairyland part for the next 1000 years, and the evil ones perish. Sally is then saved from electrocution.
