Synopsis:
Johnny helps drive off Cheyenne raiders, kills their leader, Eagle Feather. Johnny warns off two road agents attempting to hold up a stagecoach carrying an Army paymaster with payroll, which stagecoach Johnny was riding guard on. Johnny had served under Quantrell as a guerrilla fighter during the Civil War. He was peace officer in a number of western towns, including Newcastle where he accounted for a couple of cattle rustlers, a hold-up artist named Blizzard, and his gambler friend, "Doc" Cornet. His duel with Cornet, bore witness to Johnny Owens' nerve and speed with a gun.
