Very interesting in that Roy is a black-hatted cowboy here, and wearing a jacket; it is obvious Micale was influenced by several photos appearing on previous issue back covers.

Jimmy rode Red Flame for a year. He left on business for 2 weeks. Red Flame broke free. Jimmy took it hard, but was consoled when Red Flame's son, Wildfire, was born to the Palomino filly. Jimmy nursed the colt when it got suck stealing too many apples. Winter on the Oregon Brakes, as old Hank cleaned the stalls, the strae caught fire from his pipe. Wildfire broke his Palomino mother free, and they ran off, then sought refuge in the blizzard.
