In order to secure a large supply of slaves for his treasure acquiring operation, El Hammad disguises Trina as Ann and sends her to the villages requesting that they give u[p their warriors to El Hammad. Later the real Ann is captured by El Hammad and used as bait to draw an octopoid monster out of the lake where he believes there to be treasure. Kaänga and N'geeso rescue Ann and free the slaves.

Kochar the mandrill chief once saved one of Simba's cubs from crocodiles. Recently, Kochar's tribe has begun raiding safaris. Simba investigates and finds that Kochar has been driven from his throne. Simba attacks the mandrills and forces them to receive Kochar as their chief once more.
