Wolverine recalls his fight with KGB whilst rescuing his friend Charlie. Spider-Man discovers the bodies of the owners of a local store. He takes his photos to the Bugle and whilst he is there Ned Leeds interrupts a conversation between him and J. Jonah Jameson. He takes MJ out to Time Square but a sniper starts shooting and forces him into action but he feels helpless to assist. Parker decides to give up being Spider-Man once more. Meanwhile Ned explains that he believes Charlemagne has returned and is killing ex-KGB agents. Jonah phones Parker to offer him a job.
