Kronus, an elderly Wallo, is attacked by gargoyles that steal a ring, once belonging to his deceased wife, now promised for his daughter on her wedding day. Wilykit and Wilykat, aided by Lion-O, then enter the Black Tower of Robber Baron Karnor to recover the ring. They succeed but, escaping, are attacked by the gargoyles. To face this threat, Lion-O calls the other Thundercats for help, and the assembled heroes destroy the monsters and end the tyranny of Karnor at last. The heroes then head for the Wallo's village and present the ring to Kronus's daughter.
