Synopsis: The X-Men learn that before Xavier formed the "all-new" X-Men, he borrowed a band of Moira's students, mentally trained them and sent them to Krakoa to rescue the original X-Men. Kurt and Logan wonder what ever became of that team and why no one remembers them. Unfortunately, Cyclops and Rachel have been captured by Vulcan, the only surviving member, who not only claims that Xavier wiped everyone's memory of the event but also that he is Cyclops' long lost brother.

Synopsis: Emma Frost and Layla Miller link minds with a number of earth's heroes and show them that the House of M is not the "real" world. This is especially hard on Peter Parker who is living an ideal life with Gwen Stacy and Uncle Ben, two of his loved ones who are dead in the reality he comes from. As the heroes gather and try to figure out what to do about Magneto and his new mutant world, Logan's old SHIELD unit arrives and begins a battle. Layla zaps Jessica and her team and converts them to her side. Magneto, feeling an impending sense of doom, visits the Xavier memorial.

The Phoenix Force once again inhabits Jean's body and the X-Men keep her from her path of destruction by showing her how much she is loved. Jean destroys the attacking Shi'ar and heads into space to find herself. The X-Men try to return to some semblance of normal life.
