In 1771 Tomahawk and Dan travel into Ojibwa territory to find out why they are raiding white settlements. They are ambushed but rescued by Arana, a newly-elected Chief. The ambushers wore turkey feathers (not eagle feathers), cluing Tomahawk that they belong to Chief Little Badger's village.
