A voice comments on events throughout the issue. Lightning Lad has brought Superman back to the 21st century Fortress. Batman arrives, and after mentioning he has met three different Legions, he tells Superman that he has found two bodies in Gotham, those of be Una and Karate Kid. Their flight ring alarms go off; Starman has signaled. He warns Superman in a cryptic fashion about what is going to happen. Back in the Fortress, the bodies are loaded into a time bubble. Lightning Lad gives Superman a new flight ring before taking off. The unseen narrator is revealed as the Time Trapper.
