Rancher Josh Wall causes a rockslide and is knocked unconcious leaving his mules unattended. Trigger finds the mules and Josh. Trigger takes Josh and is met bey Uncle Mike and Davey and then is sent to bring in the mules. An encounter with a bear and a rickety bridge add excitement to the story.

Al McKimson was a pen name for several artists. First the brothers Chuck and Tom McKimson. Others were Pete Alvarado, John Ushler, Randy Steffen, Andrew Bensen, Hi Mankin, Mike Arens, Alex Toth.

Please accept this check, Mr. Hanford, as a token of our appreciation for Trigger's visit during frontier week!
Uncle Mike and Davey put Trigger on a train headed home. A storm arises and the engineer wants to loosen two empty cars, but the new brakeman unhooks three - the one with Trigger. The cars derail and Trigger wanders into rancher Murdock's corral where they try to brand him. Trigger escapes and encounters a bear. He finds his way home safe and sound.
